On this Thursday, June 20 2019, around 110 people met in SILAB’s premises to attend the presentation of the 12th prize winner of the SILAB - Jean Paufique Corporate Foundation. It was the occasion to learn the latest news on the project it is supporting.
The members of the scientific committee as well as many SILAB’s collaborators were gathered around Brigitte Closs-Gonthier, administrator and scientific director of the Corporate Foundation.
Marine Cordonnier, the 2019 prize-winner, came to present her research project entitled “understanding, treating and monitoring melanoma by studying exosomes”. The studies are conducted in the Lipids, Nutrition, and Cancer Center - LNC - INSERM UMR 866 Faculty of Medicine of Dijon, under the supervision of Prof. Carmen Garrido, Director of the research center and Head of the heat shock protein (HSP)-Pathies” team and Dr Jessica Gobbo. This research project receives the financial support of the Foundation for the next two years.
This was also an opportunity to follow the scientific progress of the 2018 prize-winner, Joudi Bakar.
The exchanges between prize-winners, members of the Foundation and SILAB staff ended in a friendly and casual atmosphere around a cocktail.
